The art scene has continued to grow in Granby, with several new murals and sculptures completed in 2022. 

 

The Bowerbird’s Den

There’s a new bird in town! Artist Helena Martin brought to life the shop’s namesake, the bowerbird, and its collection of treasures.

Elk Mountain Construction

In partnership with Destination Granby, artist Dan Toro created idyllic scenes of Grand County past and present.

Granby Garage Roadhouse Stage

Artist Mikey Cross added whimsy and color to downtown Granby with some fun new critters playing backup on the outdoor stage at the Granby Garage Roadhouse.

“Long Wall” Mural

The Granby Public Art Committee’s Art in the Park event brings new life to the long wall mural each year. In 2022, artists competing in the event painted giant aspen leaves, which were installed on a backdrop of aspen trees and blue skies. (Art pictured by Monica McFarlin)

Midtown Cafe

As part of the Colorado Open for Business grant, Midtown Cafe commissioned artist John Henley to create two outdoor sculptures, "Euclid's Dream" and "Sunrise to Sunset".

Polhamus Park Stage

As a center focus for summer events and music, the Granby Public Art Committee commissioned artist Mackenzie Foote to bring the flora and fauna of Grand County to the Polhamus Park stage.

Two Pines Supply
