GUIDED TOURS

Ride the Continental Divide on Colorado snowmobiling trails as you never have before with Grand Adventures. Tours top out at nearly 12,000 feet with incredible mountain views. Choose between their two most popular tours, the Continental Divide Tour and Trailblazer Tour, both with either 2- or 3-hour options. Their tours feature a good mix of main trail riding, single track trails, and open meadows and they have options for all abilities from beginner to advanced.

On the Trail Rentals has two tour options that explore the Arapaho National Forest near Grand Lake. Both are 2-hours long. Their Trail Ride Tour is geared toward the beginner snowmobile rider who wants the comfort of having a guide accompany them on their adventure. You’ll travel approximately 30 miles on groomed snowmobile trails reaching elevations of 11,000 feet. Powder fields and beautiful scenery allow for excellent photo opportunities. The Advanced Tour is geared toward intermediate riders wanting the comfort of a guide. This is a faster paced tour travels approximately 40 miles on groomed trails and reaches elevations of 12,000 feet. The panoramic views in the high mountain meadows will make you think you are on top of the world.

EXPLORE ON YOUR OWN

If you want the experience of riding at your own pace, try an unguided snowmobile rental. Grand Adventures and On the Trail Rentals both offer snowmobiles rentals and will give you tips and maps on the best places to explore. You’ll be able to leave right from where you rent, so no need to worry about transporting a snowmobile anywhere. Want to purchase your own snowmobile? Stop by Power World Sports. If you already have your own sled, you’ll have no shortage of places to explore. Our area boasts more than 1,000 miles of snowmobiling trails and nearly 150 inches of annual snowfall. Make sure to check out the Stillwater Pass Area, accessible from the Idleglen Trailhead near Grand Lake. This extensive network of trails is paradise for snowmobiling in the winter and offroading in the summer. Offering everything from easy trails to difficult challenges, this area boasts some of the most beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. Please note that this area was burned by the East Troublesome Fire. Hazardous conditions may exist, so make sure to stay on designated trails.
