ABOUT GRANBY, COLORADO
Granby is located in Grand County, Colorado and is at an elevation of approximately 8,000 feet. The town is surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, is a winter and summer recreation paradise, and boasts beautiful weather with more than 250 days of sunshine each year. Denver is a mere 85 miles away and there are various transportation options to and within the area, including an airport for small planes and a train station.
The population of Granby is approximately 1,864. The town was incorporated in 1905, and a new town hall was finished in February 2007. Over the years, the town has expanded its borders to include growth nearby: Granby Development Lands, Grand Elk Golf Club, and Granby Ranch are within the borders of the Town of Granby.

Historically, the town of Granby and surrounding developed areas have been the commercial, financial, educational, medical and service base for East Grand County. Granby continues to pursue outward growth while enhancing residential values and commercial vitality with emphasis on the downtown core.
