Granby’s “long wall” located on Main Street has become a rotating mural showcasing artwork created at the annual Art in the Park event. The event, which will be held this year on September 3 from 12-5pm at Polhamus Park includes an artist competition, live music, art vendors, interactive art activities, food trucks and beer garden.

At the first event in 2021, ten artists painted 6-foot-long wooden fish that were later installed on the wall atop a backdrop of blue waves. The fish art is now being auctioned off to make space for the new aspen leaf art that will be created at this year’s event. The fish art will be available at a silent auction from 10am-4pm with a $150 minimum starting bid. Proceeds will be split 50/50 with the artist and the Granby Public Art Committee.
