Granby Connect: On-Demand Shared Rides


The Town of Granby recently announced the launch of a new on demand, shared ride service starting Thursday, February 6, 2025! This service will provide convenient and affordable transportation options for residents and visitors alike. Within the service area, you can use the Granby Connect app to schedule a pick up near your front door or a common meeting area and get dropped off at your Granby destination. The Town of Granby is providing this service at the low cost of $2 per ride which can be paid through the Granby Connect app.

How to Book

Booking a ride is easy! Simply download the Granby Connect app from the App Store or Google Play Store. The app will guide you through the booking process, allowing you to select your pick-up and drop-off locations and schedule your ride.

What is Granby Connect?
Granby Connect is a new pilot program offering on-demand transportation within the town of Granby, Colorado. It operates using minibuses and can be booked conveniently through a mobile app.

What areas does Granby Connect serve?
The program provides service to popular destinations within Granby, including parks, restaurants, shops, and more. Please refer to the service area map for the most up-to-date service area information.

How much does it cost?
The cost of using Granby Connect is $2/ride for your entire party.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Payment for rides are made through the mobile app using a credit card.

Why does Granby Connect only operate on Thursday, Friday and Saturday?
The current program is a pilot program designed to test the feasibility and demand for transportation services in Granby. Based on the success of the pilot program, the town may consider expanding service hours and days in the future.

Is Granby Connect accessible to people with disabilities?
Granby Connect is committed to providing accessible transportation for all residents and visitors. While not available during the pilot, we plan to offer minibuses that are accessible for passengers in wheelchairs. During the pilot, our drivers will accommodate mobility or sensory limits whenever possible.

Is there a minimum age requirement to ride?
To ride alone, a rider must be 12 years old.

Can I bring pets on Granby Connect?
Pets are not permitted on the Granby Connect unless they are service animals.

Can I bring skis or snowboards on Granby Connect?
Yes, skis are permitted on Granby Connect. You will be responsible for securely holding your ski or snowboard while on the minibus. Please exercise caution when boarding and exiting the minibus to avoid bumping or disturbing other passengers with your skis or snowboard.

Can I bring bicycles on Granby Connect?
No. Minibuses are not currently able to transport bicycles.

Can I use Granby Connect for Denver airport transportation or to neighboring towns?
Granby Connect operates in the Granby area only. For transportation outside of Granby, see our Transportation Page or The Lift Granby Regional Commuter Teal Line which connect Granby to Fraser, Winter Park and Winter Park Resort.

What is the future of Granby Connect?
The future of the program will depend on its success during the pilot phase. Based on ridership, feedback, and other factors, the town may consider expanding service hours, routes, and features in the future.
