Spring break in the Rockies is something special, and Granby Ranch in Granby, Colorado is the perfect place for families looking to make unforgettable memories. Whether you're carving fresh spring snow, enjoying live music with the kids, or just relaxing in the mountain sunshine, there’s something about March here that makes it the ultimate spring break destination for families. Here's what's happening at Granby Ranch for 2026 Spring Break:

Twilight Spring Skiing

One of the best things about spring in Granby is the longer daylight hours. Back for its second year, Twilight Skiing returns to extend the fun! From March 13–21, the lifts on East Mountain and beginner terrain will turn for an extra 90 minutes, staying open until 5:30 p.m. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to ski under that magical golden hour light and maximize their time on the slopes.

Spring Break Music Series & Après Scene

It isn’t Spring Break without a soundtrack. From March 13–21, Granby Ranch is igniting the base area with DJs and live bands every single day.

  • Bands: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • DJs: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Parents can relax on the patio or grab a drink at the bar while the kids play nearby. It’s the quintessential spring mountain atmosphere—sun, music, and mountain views.

Exciting 2026 Spring Break Events

This year’s calendar is packed with unique events designed to bring the community together:

Lleky Hot Laps (March 12): Granby Ranch is thrilled to partner with Lleky, a female-owned skate and ride group. This event provides private park sessions for women, trans, and non-binary skiers and riders. Whether you’re a park pro or a total beginner, it’s all about progression and making new friends.

Rail Rodeo Finals: The third and final installment of the Rail Rodeo series concludes during Spring Break. The park crew is rebuilding Heart Park with unique new features. Since the park is visible from the base area, you can cheer on the competitors throwing big tricks right from the deck!

Demo Day (March 14): Want to try before you buy? Boone Mountain Sports will be on-site with a variety of the latest ski and snowboard brands for you to test out.

Flower Workshop (March 19): Join Granby Ranch for a faux-floral pet collar workshop in collaboration with Bear’s Bouquets. It’s a fun, creative way to spend an afternoon, and it serves as a fundraiser for Grand County Pet Pals.
