Granby Summer Camps


Camp Chief Ouray at YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch

Camp Chief Ouray, located at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch, serves children from all over the world and offers both day and overnight camps in a stunning Rocky Mountain setting.

  • Day Camp (Ages 5-14): Runs Monday through Friday, from June through mid-August, featuring activities such as archery, nature exploration, sports, arts and crafts, and rock climbing. Cost: $262 per session.

  • Overnight Camps (Ages 7-17): Ranging from half-week to multi-week sessions, overnight campers live in cabins, fostering independence and teamwork while enjoying activities like canoeing, rock climbing, and leadership-building exercises. Cost: $1,132 per session.

Challenger Sports Soccer Camp

Players will work on technical foundational skills in a fun and safe environment. More than just a soccer camp; a cultural, educational, and informational program that uses soccer to teach core values of responsibility, integrity. respect, sportsmanship and leadership

  • Details: Camp is held 6/23/25-6/27/25 at Kaibab Park in Granby.

Granby Rec Summer Day Camp

  • Ages: 5-13 

  • Details:

    The Recreation Department has exciting summer programs for children! We are licensed by the State of Colorado as a school-age child care facility and provide services for your children. Participants are required to bring functional play clothes, all-weather outerwear, a day pack with lunch, drink and snacks, water, swimsuit, and towel each day. Registration is by the week only (M-Th). There is no individual day. Cancellation is required at least two full weeks in advance in order to request a refund.

    Dates: Mon., June 9 - Thurs., Aug. 14 (No camp July 4) Times: 7:30AM - 5:30PM Location: Meet and pick up at Granby Elementary (241 W Diamond) 

    Field Trips each Tues. and Thurs. Additional activities that happen during the week including arts and crafts, nature, science, cooking, and golf. Intro to swimming will be available to all children who are non-swimmers. Day Camp does tend to fill quickly, so register early!

  • How to Register: Walk-In Registration for residents of the Town of Granby will be held on Monday, April 21 from 8:00AM until 5:30PM at the Granby Town Hall. Families must enroll their children in-person and bring proof of Town of Granby residency.

    Walk-In Registration for all others will be a lottery system that will be held on Tuesday, April 22 from 8:00AM until 5:30PM at the Granby Town Hall. All families will be entered into the lottery and registration order will be drawn at 5:35PM on April 22. All families will be notified ASAP on April 23 with their schedule

    All Day Camp registrations will require a 4-week non-refundable deposit by May 1 or their spot will be forfeited to the next child on the waitlist.

Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District Camps

The Grand Park Recreation Center in Fraser offers a variety of camps tailored to different interests and age groups:

  • Summer Rec Day Camp (Ages 5-11): Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:15 PM. Includes group games, arts and crafts, and sports. Cost: $44 per child per day.

Winter Park Adventure Quest Youth Camps

Get ready for outdoor adventure with Winter Park Adventure Quest! Offering rock climbing, mountain biking, and a brand-new wilderness survival camp, these camps provide fun, challenge, and hands-on learning in Fraser, CO.

Climbing Camp

Colorado Mtn Expeditions - Youth Overnight Adventure Camp

This camp is crafted especially for youth, combining breathtaking mountain environments with a dynamic and interactive experience. It offers a safe space for campers to immerse themselves in the great outdoors, learn new skills, and foster lifelong friendships in a supportive community.

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre Youth Programs

For aspiring performers, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre offers youth theatre camps focused on acting, singing, and stage presence. Each session ends with a performance.

For young sailors of all skill levels, the Grand Lake Sailing School offers week-long sailing sessions at the Grand Lake Yacht Club.

  • Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Cost: $400 per week

  • Dates: June 30 - July 3, July 7-10, July 14-17, July 21-24, July 28-31

  • Special Event: Awards BBQ for families on the last day of each session

Kindersail (Ages 3-6) runs daily from 8:00-10:00 AM during Sailing School weeks for $30 per day. Advance registration starts June 1. Scholarships are available for Grand County youth.
