Granby visitors and locals: we’ve got the scoop on the cutest new spot on Main Street! It's called Pink Cakes, created by sisters Adriana Silva and Karla Alfaro, and just opened this year at 185 E. Agate Ave. What started as baking at home for family and friends quickly grew, and the sisters were soon receiving so many requests and orders, they realized it was time to turn their love of baking into a brick-and-mortar dessert shop.

True to it's name, when you walk in, the first thing you notice is the bright and cheerful pink interior. But the real reason to go? It’s where you can experience traditional Mexican sweets and drinks.

While you’ll find plenty of familiar favorites like tarts, tiramisu, and classic donuts, Pink Cakes truly shines with its dedication to authentic Mexican desserts and beverages. If you're looking for an insider tip on what to order, here is the essential list:

• Atole & Champurrado: Warm up on a chilly Granby morning with an Atole. It’s a traditional Mexican hot beverage that's creamy and flavored with vanilla and cinnamon. Champurrado is a version of atole, thickened with masa, which gives it an incredible velvety texture and a deep, comforting flavor. They offer it in chocolate, vanilla, or cinnamon.
